Jaipur We leave with the feeling of having had a great time in the capital of Rajasthan, Pushkar is our new destination about 3 hours or whatever it is the same 125 km Indians. The ride is very pleasant with the anecdotes of Lakhan always happy and smiling. Thanks to turtle speed to avoid collision with a herd of cows crossed the median 3-lane highway by the one we were on and not lose the chance to see some wild antelopes in what is beginning to look a little desértico.La landscape road from Kishagarh to Pushkar takes us back to the past.
Upon arrival at Pushkar find accommodation for 400 rupees and we ate great.
The holy town of Pushkar is a very special spiritual mysticism and all that happens. There are 52 Ghats (species pool) containing sacred water where pilgrims bathe and make offerings, it is said that every Hindu has to come at least once in their life. There are several important Ghats, the Varah Ghat where the god Vishnu appeared and the Gandhi Ghat where Gandhi's ashes scattered hundreds of temples.
In the bazaar you can find everything at very good prices, silver, decorations, clothing ... a bargain, although the bargaining plays a very important, Cathrin start a degree in art.
Step on my first cow turd pastry undigested seeds, puaaag that sucks (you can step worse).
In Pushkar all food is vegetarian, and we're starting to amateurs because we have 5 days without tasting the chicken, as it was not well received in the stomach. We stopped at a street stall where we have prepared a roll with falafel, hummus, tomato, onion and French fries dream for 50 rupees, less than 1 €.
At the end we have spent 10h in the ride where we passed around, heat, sunset, shopping, blackout, stomp a cow turd, give dana paisa, Cathrin been baptized Indian named and have called WISH (which pretty ) and we felt especially hard on the spirituality of the place and the uniqueness of its people, Pushkar has truly touched a nerve. If someone wants to feel good vibrations that pass through Pushkar.
